D-611  ANGLE PRISMS

  • Small angle master
  • Various angle combinations available
  • Certification of accuracy traceable to NIST

In many respects the Model D-611 Angle Prism functions like a polygon and has similar applications.  It can be used as a calibration standard for check-ing scales, prisms, windows, angle blocks, or for gyro drift tests.  The angles are specified by users to fit their particular application.  Three fine adjustment screws are provided in the base to facilitate device alignment.

The D-611 has a 90 degree mount for calibration of either azimuth or elevation.

There are three models available, Model D-611-3, D-611-4, and D-611-5.  The dash number indicates the number of faces for each model.

Calibration is provided to 1/10 arc second of actual angle with probable error of no more than 0.5 arc second.  The included Calibration Certificate lists the angles measured from bottom to middle and from bottom to top mirrors.  Angle offsets are engraved on the base plate.
