D-613 90° OPTICAL SQUARE

From an economical standpoint, the Model D-613 90-Degree Optical Square provides the utility of two accessories, but at the cost of only one. It is a precise 90° Optical Square (or 90° Angle Block) and also a Porro Prism sensitive to elevation only. Fine adjustment is accomplished with leveling screws having 120 threads per inch. The base safety guards protect the polished optical surfaces and simplicities handling. |

As shown in the diagram, the internal 90º angle, permits viewing the image through the hypotenuse when using the instrument as a Porro Prism. The D-613 aids in quickly positioning two autocollimators perpendicular to each other by utilizing precise right angle surfaces. |
