| All projector models accept the same series of Target Slides whose test patterns are projected onto the appropriate image sensors at various magnifications, covering formats with diagonals starting at 8mm up to 40mm. Each projector is equipped with a low distortion, high resolution projection lens yielding excellent image quality. A focusing ring places the projected image coincident with the sensor plane anywhere within the range on either side of the nominal image position which is designated by white coarse and fine witness marks. With one exception, all models are available with the optional, variable image size feature, providing an 8% maximum overfill and underfill, respectively. The additional adjustment ring that accomplishes this task is provided with a set of blue and red witness marks designating the adjustment limits. All models carry an identical ring nut at the front end which couples to a variety of camera adapters. |
A permanently attached bubble level is used to check test pattern orientation relative to the camera vertical axis. Each projector has access slots for simultaneous accommodation of one target slide and two neutral density filters. Two empty filter holders are available as fillers when only one, or no filter is used. A clamp securely retains the target slides and the filters in their positions. Both access slots have witness marks to assure correct insertion of target and filter holders, and to maintain parfocalization. The rear end of the projector features a flange and quick fasteners for attachment of various illumination systems. The underside of the projector housing has provisions for installation of the internal probe. |
