D-266  ANGLE CHECKER

The Model D-266 Angle Checker is designed to check a specific angle of a test part and determine if the angle being checked is within an acceptable tolerance.

Model D-254 Angle Checker

  • Fast accurate method for checking specific angles of test parts
  • Easily used by assembly line and non-technical personnel

The optional Model D-657 Tooling Autocollimator when used in conjunction with the Model D-266 can be positioned to check any angle throughout the angle checker's 120° scale and locked in position by means of a hand locking knob.  The table of the angle checker has two adjustments providing table tilt in two planes for aligning a gage block or master reference part to the autocollimator.

The 120° scale provided for checking angles is graduated in one degree increments with every 5 degrees an extended line and every 10 degrees line numbered.  From left to right the scale reads 30°, 20°, 10°, to 0°.  With the Autocollimator bracket positioned at 0° on the scale, the Autocollimator line of sight is perpendicular (90°) to the work table surface.  From the 0° position the scale continues to 90° where the Autocollimator line of sight is parallel to the work table surface.

As in all Davidson Optronics, Inc. instruments simplicity is designed into the Model D-266.  Assembly line and non-technical personnel can master its use in seconds!
