ADJUSTABLE REFERENCE MIRROR -- D-615PLANE PARALLEL ADJUSTABLE REFERENCE MIRROR -- D-616The mirrors are gripped firmly, but without distortion, in steel mounts which rest on three stainless steel feet. Two of three feet are designed to ride against a straight edge when checking flatness or straightness of surfaces. Displacement of the leading foot up or down is approximatelly 0.000 1 inch and reflects an angular change of one arc second. The mirror may be used in either vertical or horizontal position without affecting this adjustability accuracy or stability. Model D-615 Adjustable Reference Mirrors are identical to the Model D616, except that they are front surface mirrors only -- the back surface is not polished. The single surface provides an extremely fine adjustable reference mirror where a self-checking true 90° is not required. A Model D-616 may be used to set the true 90° angle, however, and the Model D-615 set parallel to it. Applications:
