ADJUSTABLE REFERENCE MIRROR -- D-569 The Model D-569 12-inch Adjustable Reference Mirror provides a large reflecting surface that is perpendicular to the mounting plane.  Two extremely fine adjustment screws simplify precision alignment. Features: General lab and shop reference mirror Flat to 1/5 fringe over working surface Adjustable to fractions of one second Flatness certified traceable to National Institute of Standards and Technology The Model D-569 Adjustable Reference Mirror offers a clear 12-inch diameter working surface.  The adjustment screws tilt the mirror approximately 1.0 second for each 1° turn.  A series of Model D-569 or Model D-571 mirrors are often used for the purpose of simulating long distances.  Both mirrors are basic tools recommended for any laboratory or precision shop, and most aerospace ground support installations.
