The Plano Interferometer Model D-308 measures surface flatness of materials such as polished glass or crystal, or lapped metal surfaces sufficiently flat enough to reflect fight. It is designed for use either in the laboratory or on the production line.
No physical contact is ever made between the master reference plate and the selected surface to be tested to cause wear or damage to either one.
Our factory service records prove that Davidson "protected optics' design and sturdy construction hold maintenance costs to a minimum. Discover how profitably you may use non-technical employees to perform " Measurements in millionths.
The advanced design of this instrument provides the capability for assembly line and non-technical personnel to accurately measure surface flatness to 0.000 001 inch, with permanent records for future reference. 1 fringe = 0.000 012 4 inches or 0.000 316 mm.
