Model D-170 Light Chopper

Optional Accessories:
- The Model D-170 Light Chopper has a variable speed motor with equally spaced slits. The aperture disc, a 4 Inch (102 mm) diameter, ⅛ Inch (3 mm) thick aluminum disc containing equally spaced ½ Inch (12.7 mm) holes on a 2½ Inch (63.5 mm) diameter bolt circle. Inserted into these holes are pinhole adapters, having the following diameters: 0.002 Inch, 0.004 Inch, 0.006 Inch, 0.012 Inch, 0.024 Inch, and 0.060 Inch (51 μm, 51 μm, 102 μm, 152 μm, 305 μm, 610 μm and 1.52 mm). The condenser Light Source contains sapphire lenses for infrared and visible wavelength operation - range 0.35 to 15 μm.

- P/N 108-0063 Microscope & T-bar Assembly is mounted on an Azimuth and Elevation adjustable stand attached to the extreme end of the bench. The T-Bar is designed to provide a means of precisely positioning the test lens during testing.
